Amanda Hatcher
    Amanda began practicing Vinyasa Yoga under the Instruction of India King at the age of 20. It was under India's guidance and encouragement that Amanda found her passion for sharing yoga with others. In 2004 Amanda received certification in levels 1&2 Yoga through AAAI/ISMA. In 2008 Amanda began her studies at the Asheville Yoga Center, receiving her Vinyasa Flow Certification through Stephanie Keach and Restorative Yoga Certification in 2009. Amanda currently holds a 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification from Asheville Yoga center and has recently enrolled in their 500hr Yoga Alliance Program. Forever a student of yoga, She continues her studies locally with Knoxville Yoga Guru, Philip Clift as well as her studies with her Santa Monica based instructor and founder of Power Yoga, Bryan Kest. Though she primarily teaches Vinyasa or Power Flow classes, Amanda loves Ashtanga, Yin, and Restorative Yoga practices and encourages her students to try all the different styles  that yoga has to offer. Amanda is known for guiding her students with a sense of intuition and encouraging exploration of movement while utilizing gentle touch and assists in each class to create the optimal Yoga experience. Outside of her Yoga practice, Amanda enjoys training in the martial arts with her Husband and sons at their locally owned family dojo. Amanda has over 14 years martial arts experience and was recently honored in becoming only the 4th female in the state of Tennessee to achieve the rank of Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. ​

Other Hobbies include: Hiking, Biking, painting, picking up Stray Dogs, Running,  Kayaking with her Golden Retriever, Cassie, & Being Foster Mom to pups up for Adoption at the Local Blount County Humane Society.
