Brian began his discovery of Yoga in 2001 at Florida Tech. As a paddler and rower, Yoga helped him to improve his flexibility and stamina. As a scientist and engineer, he began to appreciate the powerful and practical basis for Yoga. The benefits of Yoga in his body and mind led him to want to share with others. In 2014, he began his RYT 200 training completing it in May 2015 in two traditions under Dagny Vigander and Kelly Crenshaw. Yoga also complements his interest and study in both edible and medicinal wild plants for healing and quality living which he also hopes to share. He has recently fallen in love with paddleboard yoga as well and will be expanding on that activity to promote balance and for enjoyment. He loves the wild places of East Tn, with family roots going back to before the 1790's along the mountains and the Little Tn River. He has four children and various species in his home ecosystem and lives in Maryville, Tn.
